Galvanized wire is divided into hot dip galvanized wire and cold galvanized wire (galvanized wire) The difference is:
1. Hot Dip Galvanizing
Hot Dip galvanizing is immersed in the molten zinc, the production speed is fast, the coating thickness but uneven, the market allows the minimum thickness of 45 microns, up to 300 microns.
Darker color, more consumption of zinc metal, with the substrate metal formation infiltration layer, good corrosion resistance, outdoor hot-dip galvanizing can be maintained for decades.
Hot Dip Galvanizing Application range: Because the resulting coating is thicker, hot-dip galvanizing has better protection than zinc plating, so it is an important protective coating for steel parts used in harsh working environments.
Hot-dip galvanized products in the chemical equipment, petroleum processing, marine exploration, metal structure, power transmission, shipbuilding and other industries have a wide range of applications in the agricultural field such as pesticide sprinkler, greenhouses and construction industry such as water and gas transport, wire casing, scaffolding, bridges, road guardrail, etc., has been widely used.
2. Cold Dip Galvanizing
Cold Galvanized (Galvanized) is in the electroplating trough through the current unidirectional, zinc gradually plated metal appearance, slow production speed, uniform coating, thin thickness, usually only 3-15 microns, the appearance of light, corrosion resistance is poor, the general will rust in a few months.
Compared with hot galvanizing, the production cost of zinc electroplating is lower.
3. The difference between cold-dip galvanizing and hot-dip galvanizing
The difference between cold galvanizing and hot dip galvanizing is that the amount of zinc is different, they can be identified from the color, the color of the cold galvanized zinc white with yellow.
