Technical Requirements For Galvanized Wire

1.Materials

A, zinc ingot: should not be less than the GB470 stipulated in the zinc.

B, sulfuric acid: should meet the GB534 requirements of the first-class concentrated sulfuric acid.

C, Hydrochloric acid: should meet the GB534 requirements of the first-class concentrated hydrochloric acid.

D, the GB2946: should comply with the provisions of the first-class chlorination press. 

2.Appearance

A, the coating surface is continuous and has practical smoothness.

B, the installation of the plating is not allowed to have a flow hanging, drip or slag exists.

C, the surface of the plating should be free of leakage plating, Lutie and other defects, but the defects of the following conditions are allowed to exist.

A. The plating area is a spot below 0.5 mm in diameter.

B. Regardless of the size of the plating, the area in the diameter of 0.5-1 mm of the spot, not more than 3 o'clock per square centimeter, and the total spots in the plating

3.Zinc adhesion and zinc layer thickness

A, plating thickness of 3―4 mm, zinc adhesion should be less than 460 g/m, that is, the average thickness of the zinc layer is not less than 65 microns.

B, the thickness of the plating is greater than 4 mm, zinc adhesion should not be less than 610 g/m, that is, the average thickness of the zinc layer is not less than 86 microns.

C, coating uniformity: Zinc plating layer is basically homogeneous with copper sulfate solution test leaching five times not exposed iron.

D, coating adhesion, the zinc layer of the plating should be bonded with the basic metal strong enough adhesion strength, the hammer test does not fall off, not convex.

4, To be plated parts requirements

C, Pipe fittings and container parts must have exhaust and zinc inlet hole.

5. Test method

A, zinc adhesion measurement using magnetic thickness meter, directly measure the thickness of zinc layer.

B, the coating uniformity determination using copper sulfate solution leaching test method.

6. The method of stretching and cutting

A, the zinc layer adhesion, zinc layer thickness, the uniformity of the zinc layer, adhesion is controversial, take samples and products under the same process conditions, galvanized

7. Inspection and storage
